Unit Definition (stick)
A stick, when used as a unit, is usually two inches, i.e. 5.08 cm (for the international inch). It was once used in the English tailoring business, but has since fallen out of use completely.

Unit Definition (heer)
The heer is a traditional measure of length for linen and woolen yarn, equal to 2 cuts or 1/6 hank (see above). This is equivalent to 80 yards (73.152 meters).
